About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Addington Ball Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our finance team to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including supporting reconciliations, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Financial Control: Oversee bank reconciliations, monitor the completion and production of sales and purchase ledger, and authorize bank payments and overheads.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reports and updates to the management team, including submission of monthly/quarterly returns to HMRC.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate the finance team, complete monthly 1-2-1's and annual Performance Development Reviews, and identify and report any risk identified in a timely manner to the Senior Management.
  • Financial Systems: Manage the annual budget process and ensure the effective use of financial systems, including Access Dimensions.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: AAT / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Experienced in management of an accounts team / department, with advanced experience using Excel and reporting.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate company insurances.
