About the RoleAs an Account Handler at Vermelo RPO, you will play a crucial role in providing quotations for new business and serving as a referral point for trainees. Your primary objective will be to maximize sales and retention targets through efficient communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer service and generate new business in a target-driven environment.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to phone calls and client inquiries.
- Calculate premiums in accordance with insurance carrier guidelines.
- Offer suitable product quotations by understanding and following established processes.
- Ensure product information is clear and concise, enabling informed customer decisions.
- Verify client details, including ID, driving license, and claims history, for submission to underwriters.
- Manage leads and schedule follow-up calls using CRM software to meet sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
- Attend client meetings as required.
- Contribute to team goals by identifying gaps and upselling opportunities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance terms to clients and insurers.
- In-depth understanding of the UK insurance market, including trends, risks, and regulations.
- Ability to assess diverse client needs, industry risks, and business goals.
- Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and motivating approach to work.
- Experience in a broking or underwriting environment.
- Cert CII qualification is a plus.
