About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Jaguar Land Rover. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maximizing manufacturing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the maintenance team in recovering complex breakdowns, acting as the primary point of contact for mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance, breakdown response, lean improvements, and permanent fixes, with a focus on identifying and addressing bottlenecks and constraints.
  • Analyze performance data and develop plans to improve facility performance through effective root cause analysis.
  • Support the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) as needed, assisting with conveyors, cranes, and robotic depalletization systems.
  • Complete and document Preventive Maintenance inspections on assigned lines, recommending and implementing continuous improvements to equipment and systems design.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with associates across all shifts and departments, supporting plant and departmental goals and vision.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in high-speed automation, warehouse systems, scheduling and sequenced systems, roller beds, drop sections, and conveyor systems.
  • Conversant with PRB rollers, belts, and weigh bridges, as well as scanners and safety fields.
