About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Partner Team Leader to join our team at BSI. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for leading the development, configuration, implementation, and management of sales support processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the line management of the UK/EMEA Business Development Partner team and all of their sales support activities to the Regulatory Services/Medical Devices Business Development Teams.
  • Develop and implement sales support processes to ensure efficient management of sales quotes from the RS Business Development team and associated commercial requests from clients.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial and Delivery Teams to improve the service provided to clients and effectively handle client-associated queries.
  • Drive process improvements and develop new processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and team members.
  • Proactively lead problem-solving initiatives and undertake specific project work as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of leadership and/or line management of staff.
  • Ability to coach and effectively develop talented individuals and to address underperformance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, internally and externally and at all levels.
  • Experience using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to complete tasks, such as Salesforce.
  • Resilience when under pressure and a solution-oriented mindset.
