Position Overview:

As a Mechanical Test Engineer specializing in Gas Products, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of various gas-related items. This position is integral to our Gas Product Testing Team, where you will engage in comprehensive testing of both domestic and commercial gas appliances and fittings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough testing across a diverse range of gas products.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers dedicated to maintaining high safety standards.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert insights.
  • Manage multiple testing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of results.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a BTEC/HNC or equivalent in mechanical engineering, chemistry, or physics.
  • Experience in testing gas appliances in a laboratory or manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with BS EN standards related to domestic and commercial gas appliances.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
  • A proactive approach to customer service and teamwork.
