Job Title: Finance Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join our team at Tate. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained and attached to the relevant cases.
  • Coordinate the property valuation process, liaising with valuers to obtain additional information as required.
  • Verify and attach documents to cases in preparation for the underwriting process.
  • Manage incoming post, acknowledging offers and taking appropriate action.
  • Conduct searches, such as land registry and credit checks, as necessary.
  • Dispatch mortgage offers and solicitors' instructions following approval.
  • Respond to customer, intermediary, or solicitor enquiries via email or phone, in liaison with the New Business department as needed.
  • Support the Completions Officer with the administration of mortgage officers following the underwriting process.
  • Administer post-contract variations, issuing documentation to customers and updating internal systems.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Accurate and efficient administration skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and systems.
  • Good teamworking abilities.
  • Initiative to work independently and manage workload.
