Financial Administrator Apprentice

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator Apprentice to join our team at Tate. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our financial operations, ensuring the smooth processing of financial transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is received and attached to the relevant cases.
  2. Coordinate property valuations, liaising with valuers to obtain additional information as required.
  3. Verify and attach documents to cases in preparation for the underwriting process.
  4. Manage incoming post, acknowledging offers and taking appropriate action.
  5. Conduct searches, such as land registry and credit checks, as necessary.
  6. Dispatch mortgage offers and solicitors' instructions following approval.
  7. Respond to customer, intermediary, or solicitor inquiries via email or phone, in liaison with the New Business department as needed.
  8. Support the Completions Officer with mortgage officer administration following the underwriting process.
  9. Administer post-contract variations, issuing documentation to customers and updating internal systems.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  2. Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
  3. Accurate and efficient administration skills.
  4. Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and systems.
  5. Good teamworking abilities.
  6. Initiative to work independently and manage workload.
