Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that students with SEN receive the necessary accommodations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN, including behavior management and communication techniques.
  • Collaborate with teachers, other support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with students with SEN in a classroom setting.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training and a valid DBS certificate.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
