About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Assessor to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and determining how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough medical assessments of individuals to determine their functional capacity and ability to work.
  2. Develop and maintain accurate and concise reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to inform benefit eligibility decisions.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive assessments and effective communication.
  4. Stay up-to-date with relevant medical guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality assessments.
Requirements
  1. NMC Level 1 Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years.
  2. Experience of working with adults in a range of clinical situations.
  3. NMC-registered with proof of Continuous Professional Development.
  4. IT skills and experience of using a range of software.
  5. Self-aware and focused on professional development.
  6. Motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect, and sensitivity in assessment delivery.

Training and Development
