Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Matchtech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote effective communication and teamwork to develop strong relationships between team members and departments.
  • Design and develop modern database, service layer, and client application solutions using.Net technologies.
  • Provide code reviews and coaching to junior software engineers.
  • Prioritize requirements with the Head of Software Engineering.
  • Work with the software team to deliver projects according to specifications and report on challenges or potential delays.
  • Mentor and contribute to the development of engineers within the Software Group.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical background in modern software engineering techniques.
  • Experience with time series databases, Azure DevOps, Git, and McLaren Applied software solutions.
  • Essential skills include:
    • Extensive experience in C#.NET, WPF, and SQL Server.
    • Knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, Python, and Blazor.
  • Development of full stack solutions from database to service to end user application.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience in high-level motorsport (e.g., Formula One, Formula E, or WEC) is beneficial.
