We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Transformation Lead to join our IT Delivery Team at Connells Group HQ. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving a cultural shift towards adopting agile methodologies across our software engineering delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Agile Teams: Ensure assigned teams operate with Scrum values, empowering them to become high-performing teams that increase productivity, transparency, frequency, and quality of delivery.
- Process Ownership: Act as the process owner for the team, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring seamless communication.
- Build a Trusting Environment: Foster a culture where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or judgment.
- Facilitate Discussion and Decision Making: Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups, while coaching team members in Agile Scrum frameworks.
- Internal Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Vendor Management: Work with external vendors and serve as a point of contact.
- Backlog Management: Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and new requests.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.
- Change Implementation: Help teams implement changes effectively.
- Quality Standards: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint, driving continuous improvement through data-driven decision making.
- Formal Agile/Scrum Master Training: Possess formal training or qualification in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Agile Experience: Have 3+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role, delivering change in agile software engineering environments.
- Delivery Technology Experience: Possess experience in delivery technology in customer-facing industries.
- Cloud Experience: Have experience delivering change across Microsoft.NET, Microsoft SQL, and cloud Azure.
- Collaboration and Communication: Demonstrate ability to remove barriers, keep teams on track, share experiences, and encourage collaboration.
- Agile Tools and Frameworks: Possess working knowledge of a wide variety of Agile/Scrum tools and frameworks, including Jira and Confluence.
- Passion for Agile: Show passion and enthusiasm for Agile principles and motivating teams.
- Leadership and Coaching: Possess ability to lead, coach, and mentor software development teams on agile scrum delivery methodology.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to influence key stakeholders up to a senior level.
