Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for dedicated, dependable, and flexible caregivers for both daytime and nighttime shifts, including weekends, within the Hounslow area.

Our client requires assistance due to a spinal cord injury and catheter care.

Available shifts include 12-hour blocks, either from 8 AM to 8 PM or 8 PM to 8 AM.

While prior experience in care is preferred, we provide comprehensive training, supervision, and support to all successful applicants.

Our carer development center features interview and training facilities, as well as specialized and fully equipped skills labs for tailored training to address a variety of client-specific needs, including:

  • Tracheostomy management
  • Ventilation support (both invasive and non-invasive)
  • Airway suctioning techniques
  • Cough assistance
  • Management of Autonomic Dysreflexia
  • Oxygen therapy and monitoring
  • Bowel care
  • Enteral nutrition
  • Seizure management
  • Catheter management
  • Complex medication administration
  • Support for challenging behaviors
  • Advanced moving and positioning techniques

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay rates vary between £ p/hr*.
  • Our clients typically require ongoing care, 24/7, benefiting from the consistency of a small, dedicated team of caregivers.
  • Specialist caregivers work with one client per shift, eliminating the need to travel between multiple locations. The average shift lasts 12 hours.
  • Whenever possible, we will align work opportunities with your availability; on average, caregivers work three shifts (36 hours) weekly, earning £ p/wk*.
  • This regular three-day work pattern can lead to an estimated annual income of between £26,200 - £28,950*.
  • We employ all staff directly and manage all payroll through PAYE, avoiding the complexities of third-party companies or self-employment. This ensures compliance with tax regulations.

*Note: Earnings depend on the shift pattern (days/nights/weekends) and the rates mentioned include accrued holiday pay for each hour worked.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
  • Flexibility in travel is necessary, as some shifts may require driving or access to public transport.
  • A good command of English and effective communication skills are essential.
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required, which can be applied for upon registration.
