Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Care Assistant to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Limited. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to one of our young clients in their own home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide all aspects of care, including personal care, medication management, and tracheostomy care.
  • Support the client with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the client's safety and comfort at all times.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition, ensuring prompt medical attention if necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the client's family and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in childcare and tracheostomy care is essential.
  • At least 6 months of experience working in a complex care position.
  • Tracheostomy training and certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
