We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Lead and Developer to join our team at Richard Wheeler Associates. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of cloud engineers and developers to deliver high-quality cloud-based solutions.
  • Design and develop cloud infrastructure and applications using AWS services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful cloud adoption and delivery of business goals.
  • Develop and implement automated cloud operations and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coach, develop, and mentor a team of cloud engineers and developers to ensure they have the necessary skills to deliver cloud-based solutions.
Essential Experience:
  • Degree in software engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering AWS-based SaaS deployments.
  • Java software development experience.
  • Large-scale data architectures.
  • Microservice and Serverless development.
  • Agile software development.
Desirable Skills:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Pro).
  • Experience with IoT development, deployment, and fleet management.
  • Knowledge of the UK energy sector.
