About the Role
We are looking for a Clinical Fellow with a strong interest in Maternal Medicine to join our team. The successful candidate will work at a level equivalent to that of a ST3+ trainee and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in clinical research, and contributing to the development of our service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with obstetric and gynaecological conditions
- Participate in clinical research, including designing and implementing studies, collecting and analysing data, and presenting findings
- Contribute to the development of our service, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Participate in teaching and training activities, including supervising junior medical staff and contributing to educational programs
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree qualification
- Completion of Foundation competencies or equivalent
- Basic Adult Life Support training within past 12 months
- MRCOG Part 1
- Competencies equivalent to ST3 training
