Job Title: Account and Sales Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Account and Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships, demonstrating system knowledge, and generating new sales within the North East region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop client relationships to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
- Demonstrate system knowledge and provide technical support to customers
- Generate new sales within the North East region through effective sales and marketing strategies
- Work with customers and prospects to meet desired sales and service needs
- Develop and execute customer account sales plans, coordinating all proposal activity
- Coordinate support resources to maintain and grow existing and win / close new accounts
- Participate in plant visits, audit/survey and any trial working
- Conduct appropriate water analysis/testing and report
- Maintain the integrity of strategies and implementation of sales / marketing programs to achieve sales goals within your assigned territory/market
Requirements:
- Essential to this role is the ability to build and develop relationships with customers whilst supporting multiple managers and teams
- Outstanding communication across all platforms and customer service skills that are a natural extension of your personality
- Motivated, goal orientated and well organised, with excellent time management and prioritisation abilities
- Excellent project management experience and a track record of exceeding targets
- Background in Account Management or sales in a water/process treatment company or industrial plant
- Technically qualified in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical or similar Engineering environment - or time-served in the industry
- Strong value delivery and selling strategies with a track record of winning new accounts and developing markets
- Knowledge of specialty water and process chemicals and associated monitoring technologies
- A UK driving licence is a must
