About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Data Associate to join our team at Kainos. As a Workday Data Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and configuration of enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with team members to understand customer requirements around data and deliver solutions aligned to customer needs.
  • Check, validate, and transform customer organizational and employee data, and organize it prior to loading into Workday tenants.
  • Use knowledge to present and explain Kainos data gathering workbooks and process to customers.
  • Become a specialist in the Workday Data Consulting capability.

Requirements

  • Workday HCM or Financials certified.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, manipulation, reporting, and formatting.
  • Sound knowledge of Excel.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in large amounts of data.
  • Good customer focus, with experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with credibility.
  • Good commercial awareness and some understanding of project and business dynamics.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Capable of working within teams and alongside customers, as well as on individual tasks with limited supervision.
  • Ability to plan own workload and meet deadlines.
  • Some experience in a consulting environment or client-facing environment.
  • Able to apply all relevant standards and procedures to your own work, maintaining high quality and accuracy at all times.
  • Aware of the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures security of information at all times.
  • Awareness of the Kainos story and wider business offering.
  • Commercial understanding of utilization within a services organization and the importance of these targets.
  • Able to rotate through various Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management Services.
  • Able, if required, to travel to customer sites and/or other Kainos offices to collaborate with colleagues in the same region.

Desirable

  • Workday HCM or Financials Certified, or experience with other similar HCM/ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of MS Access.
  • Some understanding and appreciation for different data formatting characteristics across jurisdictions and countries, to suit our global customer base.
