Main Purpose of the Role

As a Workday Data Consultant at Kainos, you will be part of a team that supports the implementation and configuration of enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base. Your primary focus will be on checking, validating, and transforming customer data, ensuring it is organized and ready for loading into Workday tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with team members to understand customer requirements and deliver solutions aligned to their needs.
  • Use your knowledge to present and explain Kainos data gathering workbooks and processes to customers.
  • Develop expertise in Workday Data Consulting and contribute to the growth of the capability.
  • Escalate issues and seek support from senior consultants when necessary.
Minimum Requirements
  • Workday HCM or Financials certified.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, manipulation, reporting, and formatting.
  • Sound knowledge of Excel.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in large amounts of data.
  • Good customer focus, with experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate with customers and colleagues with credibility.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Workday HCM or Financials Certified, or experience with other similar HCM/ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of MS Access.
  • Understanding and appreciation for different data formatting characteristics across jurisdictions and countries.
