We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lawyer to join our team as an Assistant Solicitor, specialising in Professional Misconduct. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading social justice law firm, Thompsons Solicitors, and contribute to our mission of fighting for the rights of the injured and mistreated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of litigated and non-litigated professional misconduct cases, providing high-quality service to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, blending technical expertise with exceptional communication skills.
  • Represent clients from various sectors, including health and education, and provide a personalised legal service with a professional touch.
  • Take an empathetic approach, providing a tailored service that meets the unique needs of each client.
Requirements
  • Confident and decisive decision-maker with a focus on daily case progression.
  • Familiarity with professional misconduct work and regulatory procedures is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years' case handling experience as a qualified lawyer.
  • Knowledge of regulatory bodies (HCPC, NMC, SWE, TRA) is advantageous.
