We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Service Manager to lead our Residential Respite Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. Located in Pwllheli, Gwynedd, our service supports adults aged 18-65, providing a safe and nurturing environment for individuals to thrive.
About the Role
- As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care and support services, ensuring the well-being and happiness of our service users.
- You will work closely with the Area Manager and Senior Leadership team to develop and implement strategies that promote independence, inclusion, and community engagement.
- With a focus on building positive relationships with stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining effective partnerships with local authorities, healthcare providers, and other relevant organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and support services.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols that promote best practice and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Area Manager and Senior Leadership team to develop and implement strategies that promote the growth and development of the service.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements
- QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience as a Deputy or Service Manager in a care or support setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, staff, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, prioritizing the needs of the service and its users.
- Computer literate, with experience of using Microsoft Office packages, including Excel and Outlook.
