Job Title: Property Manager - Housing Association

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team at AWD online. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained and that residents are satisfied with the service they receive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of residential properties, including conducting regular inspections and ensuring that any necessary repairs or maintenance are carried out in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work closely with the Lettings Team to ensure that properties are let to suitable tenants and that the lettings process is smooth and efficient.
  • Oversee the implementation of empty property management processes, minimizing costs and lost revenue.
  • Facilitate the successful implementation of change of sharers, rent increases and renewals, and carry out reference checks, right to rent checks and issue tenancy agreements.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of working in property management, preferably in a housing association or similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with residents, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Strong administrative skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Knowledge of Tenancy, Deposit and Letting legislation, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
