About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our dynamic Community Mental Health Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges within their own communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide evidence-based interventions, including psychotherapy, medication management, and crisis intervention.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, social workers, and community partners.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of mental health services.
Skills and Qualifications
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a license to practice.
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Experience in providing mental health care, preferably within a community setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice.
