Job Title: Lead Quantity Surveyor / Contract Management Specialist

Overview : We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a qualified individual to join our esteemed team as a Lead Quantity Surveyor, overseeing Projects and Services in our Southern region. This position is particularly suited for candidates with expertise in both pre and post-contract phases, or those eager to develop skills in one of these areas, who are confident in managing projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering commercial oversight across your project portfolio, enhancing revenues and profitability while minimizing risks and liabilities to ensure we achieve the highest standards of delivery.
  • Collaborating with the bid team to identify commercial risks and strategizing effective management approaches during the tender phase.
  • Negotiating client terms and conditions to ensure that commercial risks are comprehensively understood, mitigated, and managed.
  • Serving as a trusted commercial advisor, you will engage with Legal, Procurement, Sales, and Tendering teams to provide thorough commercial guidance.
  • Assuming responsibility post-contract, you will continue to provide commercial governance across your project portfolio, driving revenues and profitability while minimizing risks and liabilities.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and advising on contractual agreements.
  • A strong passion for commercial matters, with excellent numerical skills and a desire to apply these in a business context.
  • Ability to inspire and manage change in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactively pursuing career and personal development, including obtaining professional certifications.
  • Proficiency in English is essential (both written and verbal).
Educational Background:
  • Degree qualified in a relevant field (Law, Quantity Surveying, or Supply Chain Management).
  • Membership in WCC or other professional organizations would be advantageous.
