Job Title: Interim Management Accountant

Your new company is a well-established national construction company based in North Manchester, seeking an experienced accountant to join their finance team for a 6-month period while they recruit a permanent replacement.

Your New Role

In your new role, you will be supporting the Managing Director with ad-hoc projects while taking full ownership of the Financial and Management Accounts of 2 entities. You will have full control of the P&L while providing commercial support to Senior Stakeholders - finance and non-finance. You will also support and manage a small finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Managing Director with ad-hoc projects
  • Take full ownership of the Financial and Management Accounts of 2 entities
  • Have full control of the P&L
  • Provide commercial support to Senior Stakeholders - finance and non-finance
  • Support and manage a small finance team

Requirements

You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (QBE will also be considered) and have previous experience in a similar role. Construction property would be preferred and an advantage, but not a requirement.

What You'll Get in Return

Working Arrangements

You will be required to be on site full-time during the handover. After this, there will be more flexibility.
