Consultant in Paediatric Neurodisability

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Paediatric Neurodisability to join our medical team at The Children's Trust. As a leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, we provide expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in Paediatrics, with a particular focus on Neurodisability. They will be responsible for providing medical leadership and expertise in the care of children with complex neurodisability, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Providing medical leadership and expertise in the care of children with complex neurodisability
  • Working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Supervising the admission of new children and providing regular medical consultation
  • Leading weekly medical house/ward rounds
  • Attending specialist clinics and participating in research and training programmes
Requirements
  • CCT in Paediatric Neurodisability, Community Paediatrics, or General Paediatrics
  • Strong clinical skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
