Job Title: Apprentice Digital Project Support Officer

Staffordshire County Council is seeking an Apprentice Digital Project Support Officer to join their team. As a key member of the Skills & Employability team, you will play a vital role in improving lives through learning and training, leading to employment and personal fulfillment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project plans for the team's main functions, ensuring effective programme and project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project activities, timescales, budgets, and resources, maintaining change control systems and quality control practices.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to relevant officers/boards for timely resolution.
  • Establish and maintain risk registers, aggregating, analysing, and reporting information to provide a clear picture of project performance.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Must have knowledge in project methods, planning processes, and change methods.
  • Experience in programme and project planning, monitoring, and reporting techniques is essential.
  • Skills in aggregating, analysing, and reporting information to provide a clear picture of project performance are required.
  • Awareness of economic and skills projects and activities is necessary.
