Job Title: Digital Project Support Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Project Support Officer to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing project plans and assisting in the effective management of programmes by monitoring and reporting on activities, timescales, budgets, and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Manage Project Plans: Develop and manage project plans for the team's main functions, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor and Report on Project Activities: Monitor and report on project activities, timescales, budgets, and resources, providing regular updates to the project team and stakeholders.
- Maintain Change Control Systems: Maintain change control systems and ensure effective programme and project delivery, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
- Establish Quality Control Practices: Establish quality control practices and standards, including project planning, risk analysis, and maintaining risk registers, to ensure that all projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
- Communicate Project Status: Communicate project status, issues, and risks to relevant officers/boards for timely resolution, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date on project progress.
- Knowledge and Experience: Possess knowledge in project methods, planning processes, and change methods, with experience in programme and project planning, monitoring, and reporting techniques.
- Skills and Abilities: Possess skills in aggregating, analysing, and reporting information to provide a clear picture of project performance, with the ability to interpret numerical data quickly and effectively.
- Awareness of Economic and Skills Projects: Possess awareness of economic and skills projects and activities, with the ability to understand the impact of projects on the local economy and community.
