Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage young individuals to engage in activities and take ownership of their lives based on their age.
- Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the residential setting.
- Effectively manage challenging behaviors when necessary.
- Provide personal care as required.
- Support residents in promoting their independence and overall well-being.
- Ensure a safe living environment for all service users.
- Stay informed about each individual's care plan, guidelines, reward systems, and preferred communication methods.
- Support individuals in managing challenging behaviors with empathy and safety.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in a similar adult support role is preferred.
- NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Adult Social Care is desirable.
- A genuine passion for empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives.
- A valid driver's license is essential, as travel between sites may be required.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
