Senior Consultant in Investment Performance Attribution

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our team in Investment Performance Attribution. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality attribution analysis across various portfolios and asset types.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in investment performance analytics, guiding best practices across the firm.
  • Implement and optimize performance attribution analysis and reporting capabilities for portfolios, benchmarks, and GIPS composites.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute a strategic plan for performance analytics, leveraging both internal and vendor resources.
  • Oversee and ensure the integrity of data processes, adhering to accuracy and timeliness standards.
  • Participate in developing data governance standards and collaborate with global teams to maintain data quality.
  • Stay informed on industry regulations and ensure compliance in performance reporting and data presentation.
  • Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives to support business needs.
  • Detailed understanding of the investment management business, with expertise within equity and/or fixed income strategies including investment/financial technology systems.
  • Familiarity of Alternative investment process, performance and attribution analysis are complimentary to the role.
  • Specific prior knowledge of and experience with attribution analysis, knowledge of BlackRock Solutions' Aladdin analytics is preferable.
  • Bachelor degree; CFA and/or CIPM designation strongly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in the investment management industry.
