About the Role

As a key member of the VolkerWessels UK Group, VolkerStevin stands at the forefront of civil engineering, delivering sophisticated and innovative solutions across various sectors such as maritime, flood risk management, defence, energy, water, and regeneration. We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will report directly to the Project Lead on site. Your primary responsibility will encompass all commercial and contractual aspects of the assigned project. You will also oversee an assistant surveyor, ensuring the successful delivery of project objectives. For larger and more complex projects, you may be tasked with managing specific sections of the work, reporting to a Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor.

About You

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), or the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES).
  • A degree in a relevant field with a numerical or technical focus is advantageous. Suitable HND subjects include building/construction, urban and land studies, civil engineering, and structural engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
