About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Cardiology Fellow to join our team at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. As a Structural Cardiology Fellow, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care for patients with cardiovascular disease, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment and management plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake complex cardiac interventions, including coronary and structural interventions, under the supervision of Consultant cardiologists.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular disease, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct regular out-patient clinics and participate in on-call rota as required.
  • Participate in medical audit and research activities, contributing to the development of new treatments and management plans.
Person Specification
  • MBBS or Equivalent
  • GMC Registration
  • MRCP or Equivalent
  • Higher Specialist Training in Cardiology
  • Advanced Life Support Training
Desirable
  • Higher degree (MD/PhD)
  • Experience of training and competency in interventional/structural Cardiology
