We are seeking a highly skilled Governance and Planning Adviser to join our Corporate Development Department at Northumbria Police. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our governance and decision-making framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional advice and updates on all aspects of corporate planning, governance, strategy, policy, organisational learning and risk management.
  • Prepare, scrutinise and quality assure reports for strategic meetings.
  • Provide secretariat and corporate governance support to strategic meetings in line with our governance and decision-making framework.
  • Develop, review and quality assure force instructions.

Requirements:
