Double Day Shifts: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm (Early finish on Fridays)

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Maintenance Specialist to join a prominent client in the packaging sector, known for its extensive work with the food industry and a diverse client portfolio across the UK.

The Electromechanical Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Conducting reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all electrical components of machinery.
  • Diagnosing faults and implementing repairs efficiently.
  • Repairing high-speed packaging machinery, including control panels, circuits, three-phase power systems, wiring, sensors, relays, and inverters.
  • Working with various equipment such as filling machines, sealing machines, labeling machines, wrapping machines, cartoning machines, palletizers, and capping machines.
  • Ensuring safety protocols are followed and suggesting improvements where necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (certificates required).
  • Experience with LEAN methodologies and Continuous Improvement practices (e.g., 5S).
  • A strong awareness of Health and Safety regulations.
  • The ability to work independently with a focus on getting it right the first time.
  • Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments, particularly in food production.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with production teams and supervisors.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
