Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN teaching assistant to work with pupils in KS2 with special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN students, particularly those with Autism, and be prepared to work with children with challenging behaviour. They must be patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a true passion for working with children who need additional support.

Job Details:
  • SEN Teaching Assistant role to start on a full-time basis
  • Long term contract
  • School based in Worthing
  • Monday – Friday
  • Full-time

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have experience working with children in a classroom setting
  • Be willing to apply for a child only DBS
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills
  • Be calm, caring, and resilient
  • SEN experience

As a teaching assistant with Teaching Personnel, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of schools and pupils, gaining valuable experience and skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
