Job Description

At Taylor & Francis Group, we're passionate about fostering human progress through knowledge. We're seeking a highly skilled Content Manager to join our Web Marketing (Researcher Services) Team, working in a small team with a focus on our suite of community websites.

The ideal candidate will have experience in content marketing campaign delivery and a strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices. They will be responsible for planning, implementing, and reporting on digital content, ensuring measures to track success using Google Analytics data and keyword research.

The successful candidate will also be a key project group member on multi-channel content marketing campaigns, maintaining planning, tracking, and reporting, copywriting, and proofreading. They will support research to understand channel, customer, competitor, and market developments, feeding outcomes into team planning, process, and best practice documentation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and utilizing web traffic analysis, keyword research, and on-page optimization skills to improve organic search visibility and drive traffic.
  • Creating visually appealing, user-friendly web page layouts that align with company/brand guidelines and advising on website content.
  • Identifying ways to repurpose existing content in the form of webinars, infographics, etc.
  • Growing and maintaining key sources of internal information for the team, including SharePoint pages and project documentation.
  • Managing content calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery of content across all channels.
  • Contributing ideas for, and providing feedback on, team innovations and strategy implementation, working towards a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in content marketing campaign delivery and a strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Evidence-based approach to activities, with the ability to use data to inform all areas of work.
  • Excellent project management, copywriting, and proofing skills with an eye for digital design.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Experience with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar.
  • Knowledge and ability of IT systems, including core MS Office packages and content management systems (CMS).
