Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Chemotherapy Specialist Nurse to join our team at Sciensus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and making a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Administering Chemotherapy Treatments: You will be responsible for administering a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments as defined in the patient's care plan.
  2. Sustaining Professional Standards: You will maintain professional standards and be an ambassador for delivering patient-focused care, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
  3. Documenting Clinical Data: You will document all clinical data and report adverse drug events via the correct protocol, ensuring that our patients' medical records are accurate and up-to-date.
  4. Building Relationships: You will build long-lasting relationships with patients, carers, and stakeholders to aid and support treatment and recovery, providing emotional support and guidance throughout the patient's journey.
  5. Maintaining Knowledge: You will maintain up-to-date knowledge and ensure compliance with all business policies and procedures, staying current with the latest developments in chemotherapy treatments and patient care.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse: You must be a registered general nurse with a valid nursing license.
  • Qualified in Administering Cytotoxic Drugs: You must be qualified in administering cytotoxic drugs and have experience in clinical assessments.
  • Cannulate and Clinical Assessments: You must be able to cannulate and have experience undertaking clinical assessments.
