About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Manager to join our Property Services department at The Hyde Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our fleet, ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and safety across all vehicles and related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage our relationship with the current fleet management company and oversee fleet upgrades or replacements.
  • Coordinate fuel card management, service schedules, and telematics installations.
  • Ensure compliance with fleet safety and environmental standards.
  • Monitor and track hired plant, issuing regular reports to Senior Management.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective fleet strategies, including the integration of electric vehicles.
  • Travel to our offices will be required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fleet management or a related field, with a strong understanding of fleet operations, vehicle procurement, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyse data and inform decision-making.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to fleet operations.
  • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
