About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team as a Counsellor on Placement. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one counselling to up to 3 children per day, with a minimum of one day per week commitment.
  • Work in a therapeutic capacity, using your skills and experience to support the mental health and well-being of children and young people.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training workshops to ensure you are equipped to provide the best possible support.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure a high level of support is provided to children and young people.

About You

We are looking for a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist or Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about working with children and young people. You will have a strong understanding of the importance of emotional and therapeutic support, and be able to work effectively in a school setting.

Requirements

  • Be a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist or Clinical Psychologist.
  • Have a strong understanding of child development and the importance of emotional and therapeutic support.
  • Be able to work effectively in a school setting, with a minimum of one day per week commitment.
  • Be able to participate in regular supervision and training workshops.
