Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Creative Support Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting individuals with their daily living skills, accessing community support, and achieving their personal goals. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement bespoke support plans that promote independence, choice, and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing direct person-centred support to individuals, following bespoke support plans.
  • Building trusting relationships and rapport with individuals.
  • Being a positive role model and promoting healthy lifestyles.
  • Empowering service users to make choices and promoting their rights.
  • Working flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
  • Working well within a team and contributing to a positive and inclusive environment.

Requirements:

We are looking for a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work flexibly and as part of a team. Full training is provided, and we offer the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
