About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Independent Living team at CURO GROUP (ALBION) LIMITED. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centered support to individuals who reside in the B&NES, Bristol, South Glos, and North Somerset area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with individuals to identify support needs and establish a bespoke plan to support them to continue living independently in their own homes and communities.
  • Manage your own customer case load, building effective rapport and trust, allowing you to fully understand the needs of your customers.
  • Work with diverse partner agencies to identify appropriate support to enable customers to successfully live independently.
Requirements
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach with an ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of people.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills.
  • Ability to deal with challenging conversations, remaining confident and firm, whilst being respectful and considerate.
  • Good understanding of ICT software such as Outlook and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively, without judgment, but with a strong sense of professional boundaries.
  • Good resilience and an understanding of the issues faced by vulnerable adults living in the wider community.
  • Driving license, access to transport with business insurance, and ability to transport customers.
