Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our Specialist Eating Disorder Unit at Priory Hospital Bristol. As a key member of our therapies team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver person-centred care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice that comply with Social Work England Code of Practice.
- Co-ordinate, negotiate, and manage mandatory processes and procedures to ensure unit compliance with current legislation and statutory regulation.
- Work collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to deliver person-centred care, focusing on personalisation and recovery.
- Undertake assessments, care plans, and Tribunal Reports to determine eligibility and support access to services under relevant social care frameworks.
- Identify and address social exclusions, their causes, and effects on mental wellbeing and mental health.
- Work with service users to resolve their own problems and make sustainable support arrangements, including social care and health resources.
- Promote empowerment, equality, and social inclusion.
- Support service users and their carers with issues including housing, employment, and finances, striving for social inclusion.
- Enable service users to be fully involved in their care and treatment.
- Support service users with discharge planning, aftercare, and community support as required.
- Promote carers' rights and access to assessments and resources.
