About the Role

Deutsche Bank CWS is seeking a highly skilled Clearing and Settlements Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring all operational aspects of our PSPP Central Bank clients, providing support and oversight to our operations teams, and working closely with our front office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily interaction with DB ASL trading desks and client services team to build and maintain strong internal relationships.
  • Constant communication with client custodians, direct clients, and brokers to support all parties' business needs.
  • Working on Cash Money Market trade payment and settlements, including client interest/rebate payments, account proof reconciliation, and regulatory reporting tasks.
  • Working against aggressive deadlines and client demands to ensure pending PSPP returns are removed from live markets at specific deadlines and all cash depo requirements for PSPP clients are processed in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring PSPP clients are fully collateralized (to MTA levels) on a T+1 basis.
  • Monitoring settlement and collateral levels for principal book activity.
  • Providing oversight to ASL settlements teams, including daily BaU, ensuring risk and control procedures are adhered to.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks within your daily workload in accordance with business and client needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
  • Ability to deliver a high standard of work in a pressurized environment without the need for correction.
  • Good understanding of securities lending processes and/or strong knowledge of fixed income and equity settlements and/or trade support functions.
  • Operations experience with exposure to the globe's trading markets.
  • Experience of the following systems is beneficial: Global One, RMW (Agency Lending front-end system), Bloomberg, BoNY Access ADM, Clearstream OnLine, EasyWay.
