We are seeking a highly skilled Clearing and Settlements Analyst to join our team at Deutsche Bank. As a key member of our Agency Securities Lending division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our lending services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our trading desks, client services team, and business partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Work closely with client custodians, direct clients, and brokers to support their business needs and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Process cash money market trade payments and settlements, and perform monthly tasks including client interest/rebate payments, account proof reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.
- Monitor and manage settlement and collateral levels for principal book activity, and provide oversight to our settlements teams in DBoI.
- Ensure that our clients are fully collateralized (to MTA levels) on a T+1 basis, and work against aggressive deadlines to ensure pending PSPP returns are removed from live markets at specific deadlines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks within your daily workload in accordance with business and client needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment and deliver a high standard of work in a pressurized environment without the need for correction.
- Good understanding of securities lending processes and/or strong knowledge of fixed income and equity settlements and/or trade support functions.
- Operations experience with exposure to the global trading markets, and experience with systems such as Global One, RMW, Bloomberg, BoNY Access ADM, Clearstream OnLine, and EasyWay.
