Pulse Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in Paediatric Orthopaedics.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse to provide holistic and evidence-based care to patients throughout the Orthopaedic pathway. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be an advocate for the patient, providing specialist nursing advice and emotional support throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, safe, and evidence-based practice, adhering to corporate and local policies.
  • Work independently, delivering care to patients, while also driving service development and staff education.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team, including specialist consultants, paediatricians, nursing, and therapy staff.
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with clinical governance and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Children's Nursing Qualification – RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration.
  • Extensive post-registration experience in Children's nursing.
  • Nursing Degree or health-related subject.
  • Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding processes, with up-to-date level 3 Safeguarding qualification.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and managing risk.
