Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Orthopaedics, you will be responsible for providing holistic and evidence-based care to children and young people with orthopaedic conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist nursing advice and emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Drive service development and staff education to improve patient outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Take responsibility for your own practice, working independently to deliver safe and effective care.
  • Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Children's Nursing Qualification (RN Child or RSCN) with valid NMC registration.
  • Relevant qualification in specialist area with at least 12 months experience.
  • Mentorship qualification.
  • Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support.
  • Experience of audit and research relevant to specialism.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding processes, with up to date level 3 Safeguarding qualification.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and managing risk.
