We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Bromsgrove. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs to live their best lives.
About the RoleAs a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Empowering independence: assisting residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Daily living support: providing assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and general housekeeping.
- Mobility assistance: providing hoisting support for one resident and assistance with wheelchair use for two others.
- Engagement in activities: participating in residents' favourite activities, such as movie nights, music sessions, and shopping trips.
- Building relationships: fostering strong connections with residents and their families.
Shift patterns will include sleep-in shifts, day shifts, and flexible shifts, with rotas provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
