Position Overview

Mondrian Alpha is seeking a dedicated Investment Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team, supporting the growth of our European fixed income and credit portfolio.


This role is integral to the operations team, providing essential support to the Portfolio Manager and Trader overseeing our high-profile fund initiative. The successful candidate will take charge of a variety of trade support functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee core operational tasks including reconciliations, settlements, and corporate actions.
  • Assist in treasury functions and act as a trader assistant, managing trade bookings and capturing trade data.
  • Engage in pricing and valuation responsibilities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects for the trading desk and participate in infrastructure development initiatives for senior leadership.


We anticipate that this role will provide a pathway to an operations management position, with historical opportunities for movement into various sectors within the organization.


Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will possess 2-6 years of experience in hedge fund operations or middle office roles, with a strong emphasis on fixed income and credit markets. We are also open to considering candidates with backgrounds in investment banking trade support.


A robust academic background and proficient technical skills are essential for success in this position.


The compensation package for this role includes a competitive base salary, complemented by performance-based bonuses that typically reach 50% of the base salary, rewarding high performance within the operations team.
