About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in Gynaecology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for delivering high-quality care to patients with gynaecological cancer.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert nursing advice, care, and support to patients. This will involve developing and implementing individualized care plans, providing education and support to patients and their families, and contributing to the development of new nursing practices and policies.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in nursing, a recognized teaching qualification, and experience in gynaecology or gynaecological cancer. They will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with gynaecological cancer
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Contribute to the development of new nursing practices and policies
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide expert nursing advice and care
Person Specification
  • Current NMC registration
  • Degree in nursing
  • Recognized teaching qualification
  • Experience in gynaecology or gynaecological cancer
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
