Job Title: Telecoms Engineer

Location: Birmingham (West Midlands)

We are seeking a skilled Telecoms Engineer to join our team at In Technology Group. As a Telecoms Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining network cabling and telecommunications systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain network cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a.
  • Work on various network and IT cabling related installations in different environments.
  • Assume a lead role on multi-personnel installations and supervise engineers and junior engineers.
  • Prepare and understand site-specific risk assessments and complete project-related documentation.
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to engineers and junior engineers.
  • Carry out minor electrical installations and site survey visits as required.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience and understanding of network cabling and installations to a certain technical degree.
  • Reliable and good communicator with excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility of working hours and travelling are key requirements of this role.
  • CSCS accreditation (or equivalent) and a full and valid UK driving licence are essential.

  • Have a friendly and approachable demeanor.
