An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Communications Lead to join our dynamic team.

This position plays a vital role in fostering integration of initiatives across AMS and offers the chance to be part of a high-energy team, working diligently to drive the transformation of our organization at a crucial juncture.

You will support a team dedicated to enhancing strategy and engagement for all employees globally across various business divisions. Key Responsibilities:

Communications Strategy:

  • As a recognized advisor in employee communications, leverage insights to inform tactical delivery plans aimed at achieving desired outcomes, from awareness and understanding to behavioral or cultural shifts.
  • Collaborate with Editorial and Planning teams to coordinate daily activities that reach key audiences across both digitally connected and non-connected environments.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and business partners to identify opportunities, ensuring message consistency and avoiding unnecessary overlaps in activities.

Content Development:

  • Produce and disseminate internal content, including corporate announcements and responses to emerging issues, ensuring a seamless flow of information across various management levels and divisions.
  • Collaborate with Internal Communications partners to deliver a consistent corporate narrative that reflects our business strategy and diversity ambitions through owned channels.
  • Engage with other teams, including HR, to support project workstreams related to our transformation initiatives and unified mindset.

Innovation and Best Practices:

  • Stay informed about current best practices in the industry and technology trends to continuously enhance and share knowledge within the Internal Communications team.
  • Regularly review insights and measurement data to refine tactics for relevance and impact.

  • Exceptional writing skills with experience in communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in communications with extensive experience in executing internal and/or external communication strategies.
  • Proven ability to achieve results and work effectively in a complex environment.
  • Creative and energetic in introducing new ideas and challenges.
  • General awareness of employee engagement techniques.
  • Passion for and knowledge of the engineering or technology sector.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proven track record of excellent teamwork across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with basic capabilities in SharePoint and video editing tools being preferable.
